We’ve heard the rumors that Stussy could have a possible collaboration with Nike for a little while, and while nothing was confirmed, a potential white pair surfaced on the web a little while back. We now know that the collaboration is indeed true, and will be releasing in the very near future.
Stussy is collaborating with Nike on the classic silhouette of the Air Max 95 in three different tonal colorways. This trio celebrates two previous Stussy x Nike collaborations: the 2000 Air Huarache and the 2001 Blazer Mid.
Each one of the three colorways from this collaboration feature different details that celebrate these two previous releases, such as the blue and pink detailing that reference the Blazer collaboration, and the neoprene tongue and tongue badge that honor the debut of the Air Huarache project, all on the blue colorway below. The black and green pairs only feature references to the Air Huarache collaboration project with the neoprene tongue and patches. Additionally, Stussy branding can be found on the tongue patches, insoles, and also a small hit on the white outsoles of all three pairs.
