Six Team HOVR Phantom Colorways Release for Under Armour’s Collegiate Programs

Under Armour HOVR Phantom Maryland Terrapins

Yesterday we reported that a collection of collegiate HOVR Phantom colorways would be arriving for March Madness next week. Earlier than expected, all six colorways have hit retail.

Fans of the Maryland Terrapins, Auburn Tigers, California Golden Bears, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Wisconsin Badgers, and UCLA Bruins can now grab a pair of the Under Armour HOVR Phantom and support their teams ahead of March Madness. All six builds flaunt fade midsoles with stunning speckling.

The HOVR Phantom features the brand’s latest cushioning system, HOVR, that is contained by the compression mesh Energy Web. The microthread upper offers a compression-like fit that is breathable and dries fast, while the knit ankle collar adds to the bootie-like fit.

To this writer, the standout feature of the HOVR Phantom — besides for the HOVR foam — is the breathable SpeedForm 2.0 sockliner, which uses anatomically correct pads to add extra protection and comfort right under the foot. This new SpeedForm makes for a sensational step-in feel.

You can learn much more about the sneaker by checking out Duke4005’s Under Armour HOVR Phantom Performance Review.

All six team HOVR Phantom colorways are available now at UA.com for $130 each in sizes 7 to 15.
