Since Reebok is seen as a “British” brand and Victoria Beckham is British celebrity “royalty”, it only makes sense for the two brands to combine. The former Spice Girl, now married to one of the biggest soccer stars in history, has a long history with Reebok and now, we get her second inspired Bolton model – the Bolton Sock Lo.
Taking the lines and shape from the original Bolton, a 90s runner that, at the time, was a serious performer with suede and mesh uppers and Hexalite heel cushioning, the Sock Lo continues with those details but redesigns the upper. Instead of a traditional tongue construction, now the upper consists of a stretch inner bootie with leather and suede overlays to cage the foot. Hexalite is still the cushioning of choice in the heel.
The shoe will release in two initial colorways – black Sahara and wild khaki Sahara – with both having hits of solar orange in the detailing. Priced at $250 USD, the shoe is available on Reebok.com today, March 15.
