Randy Booker: Post Workout Stretching & Myofascial Release

Randy Booker is back with another solid training video and this time around he discusses the most important aspect of training – post workout stretching.

According to Randy, these post workout tips will help prevent injuries, aid in recovery and help you gain long lasting, permanent flexibility gains that you will feel and notice… unlike traditional static “hold for 15 seconds” stretches that only give temporary flexibility gains.

So hit the jump and learn a few things to take with you when you’ve completed your workout and be sure to subscribe to Randy’s Channel to show your support.

  1. According to the latest research static stretching reduces the muscle power right after a stretching session. Static stretching is useful for rehabilitation purposes (to regain optimal muscle length), but do not over do it before participating in sports. Dynamic stretching is the best alternative.

Yep, you’re totally right, but this has nothing to do with “Before performance”, If you want to see him talk further about what you are talking about, He has a video on “Pre(Meaning BEFORE) workout Dynamic Stretching” on his channel, so before you judge, go watch it…that’s why the title says “POST” WORKOUT…”POST” – This means “AFTER” not before.
