It might still be early fall but for those who live in colder climates it’s never too early to prep for the inclement weather. That being said, Jordan Brand has got you covered with the upcoming Air Jordan 9 Boot NRG ‘Olive’.
Last month, WearTesters reported on two more Air Jordan 9 Boot NRG colorways which included Black/Black/Concord and Wheat. Now, we have a detailed look at the Brown/Olive build which is affectionately known in the streets as the ‘Beef and Broccoli’.
The shoe features everything you’d expect from an Air Jordan 9 Retro, with the added bonus of thicker materials to keep your feet warm during the colder days. The lace loops are metal d-rings rather than the typical plastic loops you see in the Jordan 9 — for more rigidity and durability when lacing your shoes up tight while protecting from the elements — along with an aggressive thick rubber traction outsole that is inspired by the Special Field Boot.
The Air Jordan 9 Boot NRG will release in three colorways on October 13 for $225 at Eastbay.com, Nike SNKRS, and select Jordan Brand retailers.
