Solidifying himself as the king of on court sneakers this season, Rockets forward PJ Tucker surprises us again with a Nike Zoom Kobe 3 PE in the Westchester High School colorway.

Specifically designed for the Los Angeles high school, the Nike Zoom Kobe 3 “Westchester” was a player exclusive that dons the school’s colorway. The shoe features a “W” on the tongue that is supposed to represent the school, but PJ Tucker could be counting on the shoe to bless the Rockets with a W.

Tucker unveiled his kicks for tonight and thanked Kobe himself in a post on Instagram. Kobe’s former teammate, Trevor Ariza, is a graduate of Westchester High School — he’s also one of PJ Tucker’s current teammates. Perhaps he’s the plug…

Is PJ Tucker indeed the king of on-court sneakers? Let us know in the comment section below.

  1. This is the generation from when my sneaker fandom was at its lowest. I really don’t miss shoes that were made from 90% fuse. Just because its rare and limited doesn’t mean its heat. It’s cool that he likes it and thinks its special though.
