WearTesters first reported on the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit Low ‘Shattered Backboard’ when it was spotted in China. Now, we’ve got an official look so expect a release soon.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Flyknit ‘Shattered Backboard’ re-purposes a successful Air Jordan 1 colorway used on the Air Jordan 1 ‘Shattered Backboard’ (that shoe was recently re-made in satin for the ladies). However, the original AJI SBB was known for its leather quality, and this latest ‘Shattered Backboard’ shoe is almost entirely Flyknit; the only leather here is used at the liner and Swoosh.
Regardless of how many times the colorway is used, the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit Low should offer a much more comfortable ride than most Air Jordan 1s; it is likely that the Low will come with the thick OrthoLite insoles that made the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit a shoe you could wear all day. You can learn more by checking out the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit deconstructed.
There is still no official word on when the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit Low ‘Shattered Backboard’ will hit retailers but now that the official images are out expect a release in the coming weeks at nike.com.
