I guess because it’s black color. Less noticeable when dirt gets on it. Or maybe I’m wrong. Perhaps black color is a cool color for outdoor hoopers. I don’t know man lol. I think it’s the former.

Hi, these 2 shoes look pretty much the same except for the tongue and the Zoom Air in the heel for the Crusader. And the price is around the same. However, I am getting conflicting reports on the outsole for the Crusader. Is it an XDR or any sort of outdoor friendly rubber like the Venom or is the Crusader more for the indoors?
Btw, why do you prefer the Crusader over the Venom 4? You ball indoor or outdoor?
Faz I don’t have either shoe and I’m going off what NW has presented on his videos thus far. The Venonmenon outsole is designed for outdoor use and the Crusader was shown to how pliable grooves designed for indoor hardwood.
I ball indoors, but I have a pair of Nike Zoom Hyperfranchise XD for my blacktop dealings.
Hi, thanks for replying. In that case, Kobe Venom would suit me better as I only play on blacktops. Went through 3 shoes in less than a year; Lebron X and 2 running shoes (old LunarGlide and an old Nike Zoom came off last night). Not gonna spend a lot on a basketball shoe anymore unless it’s really an outdoor specific shoe.
However last night I went to the mall and they have the last piece of Lebron Ambassador 5 for USD100 (which is a steal here). I don’t know whether I should go for the Venom or Ambassador. Zoom/Zoom vs Zoom/Air Max. The price difference is USD20 (higher of course for the Venom).
That said, both offer no ventilation at all. I wonder why outdoor shoes doesn’t come with vents at all. I mean, vents is more important for outdoor I think since it’s hotter outside.

You wont be disappointed with the Ambassador. I use mine outside and they have held up well and feel comfortable.
i would suggest u go for Lebron Ambassador 5. the outsole can hold up quite good on blacktop, and its air max setup at heel.
besides, its cheaper to trash it. =)

I’ve gone through the review now and I was surprised that it got such low scores. It looked good at first. I still wouldn’t mind it though as it has XDR outsole. That’s my #1 priority.

I just want to know the sizing and fitting on them if I should go up a half size or stay true to size. I have a wider foot and it seems that someone had posted a review on nike saying they run narrow but I don’t want to go off of one review. Anyone can give me an input on what I should do?
