After venting about French Nike stores selling unauthorized pairs of Huaraches — a claim we reached out for comment on — Hichem OG posted what appears to be the Nike Sock Dart 2.0.
The pair in these photos could be real, samples, or total fakes (unlikely considering Hichem’s track record), but these images simply give us a better idea of what the next Sock Dart may look like — and it’s pretty disappointing.
Nike took a Tinker Hatfield shoe from 2004 — that still looks like it’s from the future — and “updated” it by removing the strap and heel counter, altering the silhouette, and adding a significantly larger swoosh. The upper may be a Jacquard or regular mesh, but the fused toe just looks…eh. Moreover, the outsole has lost its herringbone and durable rubber for an outsole obviously inspired by the original that resembles the Free tooling.
If this is what Nike plans on replacing the original Sock Dart with, will you cop? Do you agree with Hichem’s emojis? Let us know.
UPDATE 3/10: The model pictured here is actually a Nike budget model inspired by the Sock Dart.

Pretty much lol
To be honest, from aesthetically point of view, i find them more interesting than the first version. I admit it, i am weird!
Surely these aren’t real. They look like the kind of loafers that are only worn by 80 y/o grocery baggers.
Glad I grabbed the first Sockdarts lol, only issue I have with them is the ease of putting on the strap. but other than that, super comfy and light weight. And fresh cant forget how fresh they look.
