  1. They look nice. But you didn’t seem too stoked on the traction. I’m curious to see what ratings this shoe gets. Also anxiously awaiting the drose 4 performance review. Keep up the good work

      1. No I didn’t want you to sing for joy. You just usually expand a little more on your thoughts of traction that you like. That’s all.

  2. Great vid nightwing. You’re getting global! Keep up the goodwork. I’ve bought about 3 shoes after your reviews. Looking forward to the performance review of this one.

  3. you recently said your feet are now used to low profile setups, do think these are genuinely too much cushion or could you just not be used to it, having recently tested the dense micro g the spawn, the low profile podulite, the low profile FILA foams, and the low profile crazy light 3

    1. When I said that I was talking about me personally, just my personal point of view. I dont like feeling like Im sinking into a shoe – this lunar midsole is a lot thicker than the kobe 8 so it rides a bit high. Its really comfortable and really well cushioned but its not something Id personally prefer. Letting people know of this can help them make their own decision. Some love plush cushion and some like dense cushion. Just really depends. Im thinking that the Lunarlon will break-in and begin to mold a bit more with more wear on-court so if that happens then I think the feeling it brings could get better every time. Hopefully thats what happens.

      1. Just a suggestion for after the review, what I’m doing with my pair once I get them is taking out the insole and putting a kobe 8 one in. Really hoping that it will all fit ok, if it does these would just be amazing.

          1. Thats what I love about how far the innovation of shoes. The fact that you can switch a midsole of one shoe for that of another without using scissors or tape etc is amazing

          2. Let me know if you do! Would love to know before I get a pair. The full length zoom looks like it could be troublesome for my arches but my kobe 8s have been fine. Can’t wait till the performance review – support what your doing man keep it up!

      2. Yeah. Many people hate on Adidas’ EVA foam cushioning, because it’s so basic and not soft like air or whatever, but I like the firm feeling best and it does its job. It’s all personal preference.

        1. I like the EVA cushioning on the older Adidas shoes ( not the recent Rose’s). what I don’t like about most Adidas shoes is that they run narrow that I have to literally flatten the shoes by compression and flexion til they become wide enough to be worn comfortably.

  4. also, an 8.5 fits perfectly(length and width) for the KD V’s not elites. if i wanted a casual fit that could last me a while, would you suggest a size 9 for these?

  5. How’s the heel to toe transition NW? My concern is that double last midsoles don’t offer that smooth transition like the kobe 8 or hd2013 did.

  6. Im just looking forward to the black/red version dropping on Oct 31. This colorway looks just alright.

Btw, was that your wife holding the camera? It is the best thing in the world when you have your family support you doing what you love.

  7. your review is so informative and useful and more often than not, i usually end up buying shoes i like once you had a good review about the shoes, and that means all of what I bought, Keep it up and thanks for what ur doing =)

  8. I think (and hope) that lunarlon breaks in after some use and firms up a little more. I felt the Kobe 8’s were mushy at first as well. Excited to hear more about the xi, thanks nw!

  9. Tomorrow I’m going to try them on, thanks to your review I know what To look after to understand if they’ll be a good choice for the new season coming up. Still in love to the kobe 8s but I’ve been waiting too much to not ball in these bron’s .
Keep up the good work NW, here in Italy your name and reviews are so helpful.
    Really appreciate.
    Simon

  10. I heard that the foamposite parts of the shoe gets easily scuffed or it already looks beaten up after 2-3 uses. Is that true?

  11. Are they more snug than the kobe 8s? I’m not really sure if I’m a wide footer and the Kobe 8s fit true to size for me fine

  12. @Nightwing, love your reviews. and im very exited for the lebron 11’s but aesthetically the lebron 10 was alot better looking IMO

    1. I disagree. The LeBron X had no panels, there was no design at all. Just a shape that made the upper. The Elite was better with the Carbon Fiber overlays. The XI’s though… someone designed those and they look amazing.

  13. Hello nightwing2303! Are these shoes suitable for flat foot players like me? I bought a pair of adidas top ten 2000, and my foot hurts aft playing for about 30mins, esp my arch. 🙁 Any recommendation in mind? I would love to see the performance review of these LeBrons! From a Singaporean subscriber! Hahaha

  14. Nightwing you did it again, you’ve sparked my curiosity in another shoe. First it was the Hyperdunk 2012, The Kobe 8 System, The CP3 VII, and now these. It’s cool though, I’ll be the freshest dude on the court with game to back it up. On the real though I love having a shoe that is technologically advanced like this one. I feel like it gives me some sort of edge on the other ballers, like I don’t have to worry about certain nagging things that happen during a game (like my legs feeling like they’re 8000 lbs, my feet aching, or pain in my knees). I like the whole cushion set up Lunarlon+Full-Length Zoom Air, OMFG!!! My feet will be in heaven. For me those cushion set ups are like the best, they’re right up there with Air Max. Anyway great vid man keep up the great work.

P.S. You know what’s also awesome about these, the Terracotta Warrior Colorway comes out just in time for me. This is just perfect, Thanks again Nightwing!

  15. For some reason I am not that interested in this shoe or the CP3.VII, which could end up being two of Nightwing’s favorites.

    1. The other reason is that I don’t feel like chasing around shoes that Nike only make limited quantities of. If Nike want to make you overpay for them (some sellers will jack the price up if quantities are scarce), or scrounge around looking for a pair because they will only supply a limited amount, they can shove the shoe up their a@@.

  16. I think I’ll look back in 15 years and say it was one of the best sneakers of that time… Aesthetically “kings pride” is a classic first XI release for Bron. Amazing CW. For me personally, I’ve worn them in-game for 10 hours and they’re my favorite Bron yet. I have most do his other sigs, just missing the II and VI. Great stuff as usual Nightwing, we’ve been a fan over here in Vegas.
