Nike KD 9 ‘Unlimited’ – Detailed Look and Review

The Nike KD 9 has released in a few colorways now but the fourth colorway is the loudest to date by far. The next colorway of Kevin Durant’s ninth signature sneaker is the KD 9 ‘Unlimited’.

Various colors come together to set this colorway apart from the others. The ‘Unlimited’ theme is set for the Olympics, with shades of Volt and Hyper Punch Pink coloring the shoes that athletes will be seen wearing in Rio. The Volt shades make a statement for speed as it catches your eye immediately. Volt is the brightest shade of yellow, and yellow is the most vibrant color to the human eye. Hyper Punch Pink adds an additional element of speed, leaving streaks of the athlete passing by. 1. It’s great that you got to attend the Nike Golden Air Event. Good detailed review. That colorway is fire. I can hear the bots coming.

  2. Do you think Nike will put out a high- or mid-top version of the KD9? I know what people say about the support being an illusion, but I just don’t feel comfortable in lows, and these look fantastic.

    1. @Phil, they completely cover your ankle bone(these are true mid-tops), they’re just styled to look lower with the Peter Pan tongue/heel.

  3. Hey, so Nightwing mentioned in his review that the translucent outsole may not have the same great traction as the solids. How does the translucent outsole’s traction work, and is it an outdoor option? Thanks

  4. Hi, purchased the kd9 but I have an issue that I need your advice. Although I was smart enough to take shocks with me to test the shoe I idiotically didn’t take the thickest one!
I purchased 11 which is very good on the toe but with the thick shocks it’s very tight on the side.

Should I go half, full size up or hope that it will stretch after a while?

    Thank you
