Another sequel for Nike Basketball’s 2016 lineup.
The Nike KB Mentality 2 look awesome. They’ve removed the outdated Fuse from the upper and replaced it with a more modern Flyweave upper. There are still Fuse overlays in certain sections for structural support so they won’t rip apart once you start playing in them. Just like the original Mentality, these utilize the drop-in Lunarlon midsole for cushion and a thick herringbone rubber outsole for long lasting traction.
The Nike KB Mentality 2 is headed to retailers now, and this University Red version of the shoe is available now at aFew.
When are you gonna do a review on the curry one friends and family shoe that came out on New Years??
Apparently the drop in midsole in the first one bottoms out fairly quickly…and then you are left with a perfectly fine shoe but no cushion. Why doesn’t Nike sell lunar midsoles I wonder?
Because they want you to buy another brand new shoe. Sometimes I wonder if brands intentionally make cushions break down quickly so that we have to buy more
I wonder the same thing about the cushioning. Some brands’ cushioning lasts for ages, then you get other brands like Nike where the Lunarlon bottoms out very quickly. Either the Lunarlon’s longevity sucks compared to other brands’ foams or it’s intentional. Too hard to say though as I’d only just be guessing.
