We saw the “Paris” colorway here and now we have a look at the “Tokyo” colorway from the Nike Free OG 14′ City Pack.
This colorway features a black suede upper with hits of bright green and solar red. It oddly looks similar to the “Solar Red” Nike Air Yeezy 2 and i know most sneaker heads will make that same connection. The laces feature hits of bright green which is a nice addition and the fade design on the midsole is a welcome addition. Tokyo, Japan is featured on the tongue, Tokyo in Kanji and Japan in english. I love the addition of Kanji, it gives this colorway personality. Overall this colorway represents the vibrant lifestyle found in Tokyo and suits the Nike Free OG 14′ perfectly.
I really love the Nike Free OG 14′ and while this colorway may not suit me perfectly i would still pick this up if i came across it at retail price, solely for the fact that i have always wanted to visit Tokyo and i would save this colorway to take with me when i eventually do go to Tokyo (2o2o Olympics).
The Nike Free OG 14′ City QS “Tokyo” will hit select Nike Retailers on May 17th.
