Mark your calendars because another fresh Nike PG 2 colorway is dropping next month.
By all accounts, the Nike PG 2 has had somewhat of a turbulent pre-release cycle: there were many rumors on what the sneaker was going to look like and when supposed leaked images were seen, the reception wasn’t stellar.
However, when the Nike PG 2 finally dropped it immediately turned heads as it looked good with certain colorways and performed well on-court. As such, the WearTesters staff had some very good things to say about the PG 2; if you were interested in how the PG 2 performed, you can check out Nightwing2303’s review here, AnotherPair’s review here and Duke4005’s review here.
With how previous colorways caught eyes, this one should be no different. Featuring a predominantly black mesh upper, the usual suede has been replaced with synthetic leather. The logos on the tongue, outsole and heel all come in red. All this sits atop a white Phylon midsole (with a Zoom unit in the forefoot) along with a clear translucent outsole for an icy contrast.
The Nike PG 2 ‘Black/Black-White-Solar Red’ is set to drop on May 4 for $110 in men’s sizing as well as grade school sizing. The shoe will be available at Eastbay.com on release day in grade school sizes as well. (Pictured here is the GS build.)
