Mache Customs, known for his creativity and heavy-hitting custom work for NBA, NFL, and MLB athletes, has struck again with an ingenious Simpsons take on the Nike Air Monarch.
The ultimate dad shoe is undoubtedly the Air Monarch; it was designed by Jason Mayden, who undertook the project as he would a shoe for a superstar athlete. Since, it has become one of Nike’s most successful models ever.
Mache took the sneaker to a whole new level with an elaborate remake, drawing inspiration from Ned Flanders’ famous “Assassins” sneaker from an early episode of The Simpsons. Employing the Sharpie-style technique so popular these days, this Air Monarch ‘Assassin’ utilizes that iconic yellow and red colorway while featuring the famous “Assassins” font on the Nike swoosh.
