Fresh off the release of a Made in the U.S.A. New Balance 990 project, Brooklyn-based shop Adsum has teased a Reebok Pyro collaboration.

Originally released in 1992, the Reebok Pyro is a favorite of many vintage sneaker fans; its clean lines, aggressive overlays, and overall comfort have made the Reebok Pyro a grail for some Reebok collectors. Now, after 26 years, the shoe will once again be coming back to retail (it saw a small re-release in 2016 but the shoes gained no traction then and soon wound up on eBay for a fraction of their retail price).

Pictured here in this off-white vintage-inspired look, the Adsum Reebok Pyro features playful hits of color at the outsole, Vector branding, and aglets. Adsum is embroidered at the mesh tongue and suede heel panels, and Reebok branding is debossed on the side panels.

According to the shop, the Adsum Reebok Pyro will hit shelves in SS19 — that designation often means different dates for different companies, but expect the shoe sometime in the fall of 2018. There is no official word on what this collaborative shoe will cost or what it was inspired by.
