Carmelo Anthony has been keeping the Jordan Melo M8 Advance handy to close out the rest of the regular season but we may just see some sweet Jordan Melo M9 PE’s very soon.
Both Home and Away versions are made in Knicks fashion with great materials being applied to each pair. My personal favorite… the suede pair. Nothing beats a fresh pair of blue suede shoes.

I love the M9 but I think from a marketing and PR standpoint, Melo should be wearing them himself. It makes the less knowledgeable think that there might be something wrong with the shoe itself when the person whose name is on the shoe won’t wear them. That’s just my take. What do you think?

I agree with what you are saying but at the same time the player should be able to choose his own shoe to wear. Like when MJ rocked the AJ1 in NYC vs the 13 and when he was in Washington and wore a number of Retro models in addition to his 16s, 17s and 18s. I think people try to find drama where there isnt any. Thats my take on it.
I completely agree Nightwing. He should be able to use them interchangeably as he sees fit. That’s why I made sure to say the less knowledgeable. Just like we can choose a certain shoe for a certain day or environment or even the comfort that our feet may need on a given day. I have no problem with him doing it. I just know that people are going to see that and make something of it. I wear the M9 when I know that I need a certain soft step in feel but I love the Rose 3.0 and the Fly Wade 2 for explosiveness.

I thought he lost faith in the shoe…SOB after he got my money for two pair….REFUND REFUND REFUND…nah still the best shoe to touch my feet, wish nikeid would add them.
I do think he needs to rock his own stuff, it’s not like we can go cop the melo 7s(just using them as a example, I’ve never seen them). People find flaws in things, if you look for something you’ll find it….now if it really exist is another story 🙂
