This Jordan Jumpman Pro Strong Draws Inspiration from the Nike Air Max 180

Taking an original Nike Air Max 180 colorway and placing it on the Jordan Jumpman Pro Strong? Sure…why not?

We’re not sure why a classic Air Max colorway would make its way onto a classic Team Jordan model, but it has, and it actually looks pretty cool.

This model features a slightly off-white Sail upper while its accents are boldly highlighted in Racer Pink and Racer Blue (the same color used on the Epic React Flyknit). The soft leather side panels remain on the shoe while the midsole is still wrapped in synthetic suede which gives them a slight premium look.

We know OG enthusiasts might scratch their heads at this version of the Pro Strong Retro but maybe some will keep their minds open. After all, the colorway does have the ’90s written all over it so it isn’t too far off from what could have been.

This Jordan Jumpman Pro Strong is available now at Eastbay.com for $140 in sizes 7.5 to 18.
