The Jordan CP3.IX Will Have Forefoot Articulated Zoom Air Cushion

The Jordan CP3.IX is switching things up in the cushion department.

No more will the CP3 model feature Podulon or Podulite, but now it’ll feature forefoot articulated Zoom Air. The cushion system looks to be implemented in the same way that the Flight Speed system uses its Zoom Air, so I’d expect this iteration to be a bit more responsive when compared to the last model to utilize the setup – Air Jordan 2012. We also get a good look at the traction which I hope performs well on-court.

Check out the latest look of the shoe, which seems to have released in China already, and let us know what you think. The Jordan CP3.IX will have forefoot articulated Zoom Air cushion 1 The Jordan CP3.IX will have forefoot articulated Zoom Air cushion 2 The Jordan CP3.IX will have forefoot articulated Zoom Air cushion 3

  1. Nightwing, this setup is what you suggested in KD8 review, articulated zoom encased in foam. Even better, this is unlocked articulated zoom

  2. That outsole pattern looks to be a performance beast, that looks super similar to the SF4. Just a question, do you think that the jordan 30 should be a performance model or a old school, classic Jordan sort of vibe?

  3. I’m kinda sad they abandoned the footprint sole, because the uppers look awesome, would’ve like a more podular setup though, and the ‘harmonica’ mid-sole, does that mean Lunar again?

  4. These are lookin pretty good in terms of traction/materials/cushion. Hope to see an all around great performer when these drop
