A notable British illustrator and toy designer has collaborated with the Swoosh’s skateboard department to spawn the James Jarvis x Nike SB Free.
Both sneakers in the pack feature the child-like, imaginative doodles drawn by Jarvis that alternate between black and white on both pairs. According to Premier, the pair with the black upper is composed of leather and has more potential as a skate shoe, while the white pair features an R&R based material that’s focused more on comfort.
The silhouette features a grooved forefoot (like a Free Run running sneaker) for improved flexibility and a phylon cushioned heel for lightweight impact protection. Check out the Nike page of the sneaker for a full technology breakdown.
The James Jarvis x Nike SB Free Collection will release this Saturday, April 25 for $115 (white pair) and $125 (black pair) at skate shops like Premier.
