More Images Leak of Upcoming $80 Nike Kyrie Budget Sneaker

New angles provide just a tad more detail of what is rumored to be Kyrie’s $80 budget model.

Back in November we shared leaked images of what is expected to be Kyrie Irving’s first budget sneaker, apart from his signature line with Nike. This time around, we give thanks to @XixiRosiiiii for more images that provide a couple different potential colorways and a glimpse of the medial side of the silhouette.

Consistent with past leaked images, we see a modified version of the Kyrie 4 traction pattern on the outsole. In addition, it looks like Nike has done some experimenting with blending solid rubber with translucent rubber on the outsole of one colorway and color blocking on the medial side of another colorway. Again, we see there will be forefoot Zoom unit as opposed to the heel Zoom utilized in the past few iterations of Kyrie’s flagship line.

Expected to come in at $80, $40 less than the Kyrie 4, does this look like a greater value at a glance? Let us know your thoughts on what could be Nike’s Kyrie budget sneaker down below in the comments.

    1. Likely means theres no zoom in the heel, the cored out bit allows for compression (see Jordan 29/30)

    2. I had it on the Superfly 2. Its not like zoom or anything. Compresses a bit. Better than nothing.

Hopefully the forefoot zoom is a little bouncy like the Hyperdunk 16 since its cored out slightly. That would be great for a budget model.

  1. If these come out in kids’ sizes, this would be perfect for any parent. We won’t have to wait until they go on sale or clearance!

  2. The upper looks simliar to the kyrie 4 but replaces the heel with mesh also. The mesh also looks thinner and less rigid than the mesh on the 4’s. Interesting how the tongue is connected only on the medial side, it reminds me of the curry 2.5 but with more padding.
