Get Up Close and Personal with the Jordan Melo M12 in White/ Navy

The Jordan Melo M12 has been pretty silent on the retail end of things, but new flavors are coming that may — or may not — boost their retail presence a bit.

This White/ Navy pair is my favorite colorway of the shoe so far, and the one I’m waiting on before I buy a pair for review. These just remind me of the good old days of Jordan Brand, when they released the Jordan Jumpman Team Post. Don’t remember those? Don’t worry…most don’t. But I do, and this colorway reminds me of them quite a bit.

There is no official release date on this version of the M12, but once we see them available we’ll be sure to update you.

Let us know what you think of the White/ Navy Jordan Melo M12, and let us know if you’ve played in a pair yet. If so, what’d you think?

  1. wow if they did a white and black or black red version of this I would be all over it. These remind me of 13s quite a bit.

    1. I agree about the 13s. They also remind me of the 12s a little bit.

These are sick. I half wish people would wake up to the performance of the Melos, but I also enjoy heavy discounts.

      1. I think people just dislike Melo and dont want to support him. Remember how he bitched and cried about wanting to leave Denver to New York. Go from a good playoff contending team to a team that will end up being bottom feeders (after the trade is all done with). Also his douche bag-looking logo doesn’t help sell his shoes either. Same thing what happened to Howard and adidas. He was selling and had good shoes during his Magic’s tenure until he bitched and cry out of Orlando.

        1. Some people may surely not like Melo (or at least clown him), but I’d say his line would be suffering from general lack of popularity. Never *completely* panned out, although still good. Could be “that guy” from the 2003 draft class that will never see a ring. The Melo/LeBron matchup hype kinda died because clearly his game never elevated or expanded the same way. Doesn’t help that he seemingly didn’t pounce into win-now superteam mode and just took the money.

I think Howard’s line suffered from timing. T-Mac was the face for a while, as well as Gilbert for like 2 seconds — yet neither were as hot as Nike’s sigs; then Rose broke out with a clearly more dedicated aesthetic. I don’t want to jump to conclusions….but would anyone really look for a Howard retro?

  2. These are gorgeous, 160 in Europe(which really was justified with raw-materials on the m10, but with mesh only, over-priced), so I’ll wait for the sales, I hope these, or the Grey/Orange are still around then.

    1. A respected reviewer said these do not contain the foot very well if you’re a cutter or slasher type of player.

  3. I really like the cored-out heel of the M11. It seems like it’s better for impact protection. I wonder why JB isn’t using it anymore.

  4. I like the Melo Line. I’ve bought at least one colorway of the past 3 shoes but there’s really no reason to buy these for retail. Like Hyperdunks they will end up on clearance and you can usually get them for half price if you just wait.
