The Under Armour SpeedForm Slingshot ‘Monochromatic Pack’ is Now Available

The Under Armour Slingshot is now available in an all-new monochromatic pack featuring 4 brand new colorways.

For a runner, there are a number of interesting tech specs utilized:

• The upper features asymmetrical compression zones of varying strength, woven together seamlessly to power the foot through the gait cycle faster.
• NASA-born Dyneema – the World’s strongest Fiber – is woven into the upper. It’s stronger than steel but so light that it floats on water.
• Below that, the team built a Pebax propulsion plate into the midsole. Like a launching pad, it maximizes energy at toe-off for explosive movement.

Despite all the technology in place, they are a minimalist setup. For those that require a lot of cushion during your runs will want to look at UA’s other offerings, but if you enjoy a lot to the ground setup then these might be for you.
