We still have to wait until the end of October for the Curry 3 to drop but photos of a premium brown leather build of Curry’s third sig have surfaced on the Internets…and all we can say is that we’re excited.
The premium dark brown leather used on this shoe, both inside and out, appears to be of the same quality that we saw Under Armour lather the SpeedFit Hike in. I held that shoe in-hand, smelled the leather, tried it on, and I can tell you that the leather used on that boot was no joke. So, if that’s any indication of what to expect with this Curry 3 Lux then things are looking good.
Again, there is no official word on whether this leather Curry 3 will release but our Under Armour source has confirmed that it is coming down the pipeline — and the source hasn’t been wrong yet. The shoe retains the carbon fiber wings and the tooling of the performance version so if you miss the unique break-in of leather ball shoes, this sneaker might be for you.

Old school model! They are pretty nice!
Now they are bringing it back home to what a real performance basketball shoe should look like, one that is made of quality, unlike those crappy materials currently being used for the so called “modern player”.
