Under Armour Continues the ClutchFit Line with the ClutchFit Drive 3

Under Armour continues the ClutchFit line with the upcoming ClutchFit Drive 3.

These look to fix the damage that the ClutchFit Drive 2 had done by actually placing ClutchFit tech on the shoe. Not just on the shoe, but all over the shoe — the way it should be. Charged is once again used as the main cushion source and the traction looks very reminiscent of the Hyperdunk 2014.

You can see a few potential color options below. Let us know your thoughts on the upcoming ClutchFit Drive 3 in the comment section. Once release information and pricing is available we’ll be sure to update you.

  1. just for fun i dpotted the curry 1,2 and 2.5 in the bakground im still trying to see if i can spot the 3 but nothing dam

  2. Looking forward to these! Loved the CFD1. Skipped the 2 Mids, but I did grab the Lows – super sloppy forefoot. Time to get back on point…

  3. really? UA designers need a potential improve, the company need not to “obviously” reuse previous designs and tools.

  4. Well ,they are not bad,i just wish they use different cut, instead of those boring triangle cut(im well aware of it meant to follow the conture oc your feet to give that freedom and support sensation)

  5. Might as well be a CFD 1.5 lol but love the implantation of Clutchfit again… Under Armour, gotta use the Speedform and Clutchfit combo some day so I can try that out!!!!

    1. I agree, speedform and clutchfit in one shoe would be great if they executed it right. I really like these but these should’ve been the cfd 2! These are basically the cfd 1 with charged cushionishing instead of just micro g. The 3 should be more improved and adding speedform to parts of the upper like the tongue would work well with the clutchfit IMO.

  6. That forefoot traction looks iffy though. It reminds me of the Hyperdunk 2014. Good traction, but those diamonds are going to attract a lot of dirt.

  7. the mint green/black/silver colorway looks really nice! might try them on if they are available in germany

    1. baby steps mate
they might come back to micro g big time in a year or two since its apparently popular
as one of those “weird” guys who enjoys charged more than micro g, I don’t really mind

  8. Why is under armor straying away from micro g it’s such a superior foam then charged I hate when shoe company’s make dumb rediculous stupid decision like adidas and no forefoot boost sometimes I really wonder do they have any clue what there doing

  9. I still train and workout in the original CFD lows. That’s a shoe that didn’t need “upgrading” different materials or cushioning. I prefer Micro G and ACTUAL ClutchFit.

  10. Pure speculation, but they phased out Micro G because they found a cheaper alternative. That’s typically what corporations do: cut costs, increase profits. There’s a reason why Zoom doesn’t feel like it used to.

I prefer Micro G over Charged, but you just knew that it was too good to last. They were going to “improve” and make “advancements” at some point and by that I mean promote something that is probably cheaper to make.

The only dumb decision would be caving and buying a product you feel is inferior just because it’s the thing to do. Hunt down the stuff you like and don’t support anything that doesn’t meet your standards.

  11. The more UA moves from Micro G is the more they are pushing me to Adidas Bounce and Boost. I now own 3 Lillards for casual wear, ball, training at the gym. It’s just a well rounded shoe that I feel beats all of my others for overall performance and looks (custom miadidas). That’s, of course, my opinion.
