Thanks to Kicks On Court reader, Wuke, we have a detailed look at what makes up the ANTA Rondo 1.
Unfortunately… not much makes up the shoe overall. Basic materials and support systems are in place and the cushion is merely for show… I assume the foam used for the midsole offers cushion but without wearing them for myself I cannot confirm. All I can say is that I’m a little surprised.

My concern is with that gel thing on the outrigger, the outsole could peel off after some time when used outdoors.
Rondos pair is different from the retail version. This is the retail but his have upgrade materials and construction:
the gel on sides .. maybe a gelled rounded edge for curving your pivot .. does that make sense.. i think it would be a good idea if thats what it is..

I wouldn’t go anywhere near these shoes. If the retail is different from Rondo’s actual shoe, then no thanks.
