The Air Jordan 11 in its original Black/Red makeup is set to return just in time for Christmas.
Back in the day we called them Black/Reds. They eventually were referred to as Playoffs. Now, the new generation, calls them Breds. Whatever you decide to roll with, the Air Jordan 11 in its original Black/Red look is coming back and they they’re closer looking to the original 1996 version of the shoe than we’ve ever seen before.
Sporting a lightweight ballistic style mesh build with patent leather overlays for reinforcement, the Air Jordan 11 has been a staple in the sneaker world since its 1995 debut.
This 2019 Retro version is as close to a full reproduction of the original product as Jordan Brand has gotten since its initial release. There are some differences, which we’ll detail in a later video comparison to the OG model, but the changes are pretty minor and are likely due to many of the factories/manufacturers no longer being in business.
