The 1 Reimagined project brought together 14 internal Nike designers to reinterpret the Air Force 1 and the Air Jordan 1. Now, one of the reimagined models, the Air Jordan 1 Rebel, is getting ‘Top 3’ and ‘Chicago’ colorways.
The Air Jordan 1 Rebel features a medial zipper, which offers an easy point of entry, as well as an asymmetrical lacing setup. The sneaker is an interesting take on an icon with a radical aesthetic twist for the ladies, and it’s definitely a breath of fresh air. Both sneakers use supple leather builds and traditional Nike Air branding.
At Nike’s Summer 2018 showcase, Jordan Brand announced that the Air Jordan 1 Rebel ‘Top 3’ and ‘Chicago’ colorways would release on May 19 for $145 each.
