The original Nike SHOX R4 in their original White/ Silver – Red colorway have made a surprise return to retail.
Back in my High School days, these were the sh*t. Anything with SHOX was popular, but these in particular were one of the first runners I saw on everyone’s feet before runners became extremely popular. Yeah, people wore the Air Max ’90 & ’95 regularly, but SHOX was new and Air Maxes were old news at the time so these took a spot in everyone’s rotation. I’m not sure if they can pass as a timeless classic in the same fashion as the Air Max series has been able to do, but they’re back so we’ll see what happens.
