The legacy of Allen Iverson is one that means different of things to a wide variety of people. Perhaps the easiest way to understand this multi-faceted and incredibly talented superstar is to stare intently at the product that so clearly represents him to the masses — his shoes.
The Reebok Question Mid, also known as The Question, is one of the most iconic models of footwear in recorded modern history. Specifically, in our current era of sport, Reebok’s The Question (a rhetoric answer to the The Answer himself) championed inspiration and took sneaker design to new places. Channeling Michael Jordan’s famed Air Jordan XI that The Answer himself wore in college as a Georgetown Hoya, The Question took inspiration and greatness from one icon and made itself legendary in its own right.
Now a vessel for the tastemakers of our world, the Reebok Classic Question Mid has become a tool of branding and influencing for a new audience who may not have seen Iverson at his peak. Now, a younger generation can get a taste of his greatness made new again — especially this year, because A.I.’s first signature silhouette celebrated its 20th anniversary and received 20 collaborative builds.
And so, it shouldn’t surprise any of us too much that the mysterious, yet talented singer, dancer, and performer Teyana Taylor would be one to front this sneaker. Dubbed the Reebok Classic Question Mid ‘Teyana T’, as you’ve probably read here and here (and seen with your own eyes right now), it’s all red with premium leathers.
I am happy to bring you all another look at this sneaker in the latest edition of Test Shoot because the Teyana T is excellent. Please, indulge yourselves.
