Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2013 – Inside and Out

I’ve officially lost interest in the upcoming Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2013.

When I read the tech specs for the shoe, I was excited… after looking at these images I’m intrigued with the Adaptive fit but disappointed with the Zoom unit. These thin Zoom units are great for flexibility but they’ve been a huge hit or miss in terms of feeling and comfort. Yes, they will still get a review so don’t worry about that… I’m just expressing my personal opinion here.

Take a look after the jump and let me know what you think.

  1. I’m intrigued with the adaptive fit though…it’s like the Nike edition of the Adidas Geofit..:)

  2. I don’t understand why Nike skimps out on the Zoom Air they put in their team shoes. Is it to save money? They already have tons and tons of money coming from the Jordan line, and their regular line…. Why can’t they just make “Zoom” shoes have like a larger volume Zoom unit, not like this tiny piece of Zoom in the forefoot. That just looks suckish performance wise.

  3. Yeah I’ve never been a fan of the Hyperfuse series but I had decent hopes for this one. This just looks like a lazy attempt by Nike.

  4. These are the nike hyperchaos and the first hyperfuse at first they look nice then when I look at them they are ugly

  5. I know the hyperfuse is a budget model, they should really try making a shoe with 2 of these rectangular unit next to each other from top to bottom in the forefoot, so that their is more flexibility and coverage. Oh and a Heel zoom or an air max unit please.

  6. Did Nike do a focus group with people that said they like small thin zoom bags? This looks cheap. It’s hard to go from filet mignon to hamburger helper

  7. Hard to justified the increase in price when Nike did a lackadaisical effort to implemented Heel and Forefoot Zoom cushion set-up people have been wanting for the Hyperfuse line.

For me anyway, its seems there are not many heel and forefoot Zoom Air Nike basketball performance shoes available as it were back then.

With the current line up there’s Hyperdisruptor, Kobe 8 Elite, and KD V Elite but it is mixed reviews in how well they are implemented though.

At least in Jordan Brand, there’s the Melo M9, Air Jordan XX8 and probably the upcoming Air Jordan XX8 SE.

  8. what i think is that the adaptive fit is somthing like a ankle support and to hold your feet into the shoe

  9. The 2012s have the bigger zoom unit in the forefoot and heel(i felt my heel sink in to the midsole while transitioning,so maybe there is).glad i have them.nice collar though
