Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2012 – Detailed Images

Nike-Zoom-Hyperfuse-2012-Detailed-Images-1

The next generation of Nike’s beloved Hyperfuse will see a release this year with the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2012.

Thinner layers, increased ventilation and full length herringbone make their way onto the next generation model which is something we have all been asking for since the original.

Take a look at the detailed images after the jump and to answer your question before it is asked… I will be reviewing this model since they actually modified it unlike the Zoom Hyperfuse 2011.

    1. Traction looks nothing like the Hyperenforcer. The grooves are much thinner for greater court coverage and friction, looks very similar to the Ektio Post Up. There are also more ventilated mesh sections than on any Hyperfuse prior to these… These look very solid from my eyes.

      1. Talking about traction, I think traction pattern isn’t everything. Every aspect of the outsole has its effect on traction. I think the rubber/outsole material is the most significant thing. The pattern are there to cause friction and cut through the rubber. There are times that some work well without herringbone or any traction pattern.

        1. I agree 100%. Reebok Question and Li-Ning Turningpoint are both good examples. I do feel the pattern is useful so long as the rubber used allows the pattern to do what it was designed to do.

  1. The traction looks close to perfect and the lockdown looks better than the 2011.Overall looks like a better performer definitely will be coppin these.

  2. i dont really see how the breathability is better than the first hyperfuse?
also what are your thoughts on the tongue being mesh rather than the zonal padding?

    1. There are much more ventilation points on this version, even you noted the mesh tongue which will increase ventilation greatly. I personally would like some padding but there have been so many shoes with little to no padding that ive gotten used to it.

  3. Might i add, the two holes in the tongue where the shoe laces go through seems to be a great idea to stop the tongue from sliding to the side, which happened in the 2011’s

  4. sorry for so many comments, just one last thought
these look like a USA colourway, which suggests they would be released some time around the olympic games?

    1. It is a USA colorway which some players will wear this Summer but that doesnt mean theyll release in that time frame. You should expect them to release during the Summer or early Fall.

  5. the flex groove looks really thin, they are probably very stiff, nightwing2303 will you do a performance review on these?

  6. Love the ventilation and use of mesh, but im not liking the design of the shoe, especially at the toe, looks clownidh! I loved the 2011 design. I might just end up coping the new lows!

  7. should I wait for the hyperfuse 2012 or just buy the adidas CL2 or rose 2.5(witch is a better performer?)?

    1. Thats really up to you. I feel the 2.5 is better than the CL2 based on their fit (forefoot) but I prefer the traction and cushion of the CL2 over the 2.5. Depends on your personal preference.

  8. when do you think these shoes will release, also do you think the traction will be good for outdoor play ?

  9. This look a lot like the Lebron 9s. Just HEAVILY modified. They look nice though. I’ll be copping for the upcoming vball season.

  10. Well, the only downside is that the traction is like the hyperenforcer, minus the heel pod thing… The herring bone on the forefoot is flat. While I was playing with my friend while he was wearing this. He slipped a couple times on the forefoot.
