Those sweet Hickory high uniforms deserve some just as sweet kicks.
Paul George is tearing up the league right now, and last night he continued to do so with a 39 point performance against the Lakers in this PE colorway of the Nike Hyperdunk 2015 Low. Matching the same color scheme as the throwback jerseys the Pacers wore, the red and gold gradient upper compliments the gold speckled red midsole for an overall clean look.
What do you think about this colorway of the Nike Hyperdunk 2015 Low? Sound off in the comments section below.
FIRE hope we can customize them later!
For a shoe most reviewers seem to heavily dislike, it’s pretty crazy how he’s ballin’ out of his mind in them almost regularly thus far.
Custom orthotics do wonders.
Professional athlete. Doesnt matter what shoe they wear. Its about the skills and not the shoe you wear. Just imagine Wilt and DrJ from long ago. They both fly and run yet they were wearing what we now consider casual and even worse than retro Js in support and cushioning.
Not quite true, a professional athlete needs a shoe that’s fundamentally sound(for example how Curry is doing great now his shoes have a wider base), and then it’s down to the Orthotic(often cushioned, and supportive).
Same goes for Wilt’s Chucks, they were nothing like modern Chucks, they had a cushioning setup that is similar to an elastic/wicker snowshoe(the tennis-racket style shoe you tie under a boot) where wicker, and elastics created a spring-plate, not quite like today, although it could be considered an ancient-version of the Jordan FlightPlate.
You missed my point. Just because some reviewer say a certain shoe suck doesnt mean it sucks for professional athletes. Lets put it this way, all performance shoes released today are up to a certain standard of support and fundamentals as you say it. Meaning, whatever shoe it is, hyperdunk, curry1s, crazylights and etc. Also with or without orthotics will not fundamentally change the way a person shoots or create space or score and defended. I am not saying that PG wear the chucks of today for ball but I am saying that the chucks of yesterday was also up to the standard of that era. A good example would be the Kobe 7s. Universally panned by reviewers but still a lot of users at its time. Even Kobe and PG balled hard in those and you didnt see them complain. Not all players also use orthotics. I know Kobe doesnt. And probably PG too with his fondness of Kobes without orthotic support.
I’m wearing the highs if I’m him.
Purely to cover the sock ankle design
It really bothers me too. Specially on the black pairs.
well, if you compare them to the days of chuck taylors for balling, then i guess there is no argument that this set of sneakers are far more better in terms of support and cushion
Not a fan of those socks.
man, am i the only person who HATES those hickory uniforms? those gold shorts are TERRIBLE
I think that anybody who remembers back long-enough loves that type of uni, because that’s how you showed colors in the early 80s, and before, you had different color shorts to complete the colorway.
i completely understand, but gold and especially gold shorts are a serious no-no for me, maybe it just reminds me of chinese new year or something…
They look great, the lows are much better than the highs though.
