“One lucky shot… deserves another” – Shaq
Perhaps my most vivd memory as a Los Angeles Lakers fan: the 0.4 second shot by now coach of the New York Knicks, Derek Fisher. I knew they had won the game, and watched the entire game on tape (yes, actually a video cassette tape), and when Duncan hit the go ahead bucket with 0.4 seconds left on the clock, I thought my sources lied to me. But then it happened, Derek fisher made a swish bomb to take a 3-2 series lead over the San Antonio Spurs. Amazing.
Now Nike relives that glorious moment on the Air Max Uptempo, although I’m not sure how exactly. Sure, their is a fiesta-like graphic on the inner lining that is very Spurs-like, but no ‘0.4’ branding, or any Laker colors for that matter. But who cares? If this shoe celebrates the 0.4 second shot, I’m copping.
This colorway of the Nike Air Max Uptempo can be found and Nike accounts like the Oneness for $160.

I think he wore the Air Max Finisher that game.
Man, it would be sad if they made a Nike PE for when Sacramento lost to the Lakers, that was heartbreaking.
I’m still patiently waiting for the Air More Uptempo to come out…..
