Barcelona’s LimitEDitions has collaborated once again with le coq sportif to create the Made in France Eclat ‘Patachou’. Last year’s collab between the two brands, the Eclat ‘Rose-EXD’, was a great success so why not hit the sneaker world over the head with something even better? It’s precisely what LimitEDitions and le coq sportif have done.
The Made in France Eclat ‘Patachou’ utilizes premium waxed leather and a goat leather lining to honor the world renowned leather suppliers Tanneries Roux. The intricate stitching on the upper showcases the French textile art of bobbin lace-making while the LimitEDitions store crest is lasered into the toebox for a supremely premium feel.
Inspired by the packaging of Tanneries Roux shoes in the 1950s, each pair of the extremely limited 80 pairs produced will feature wooden lasts as well as a care package that includes wax and a brush (to keep the waxed leather correct over time). Each pair will also feature additional laces beautifully presented in a small leather pouch made of the same leather that is featured on the shoe.
Unfortunately, this collaboration will only be available in-store at LimitEDitions in Barcelona. The release date is set for September 11 and I’d say that’s enough time for a last minute booking to BCN because these are absolutely gorgeous.
