K-Swiss Launches Latest Performance Tennis Shoe, the Knitshot

K-Swiss Knitshot 3

K-Swiss has been making tennis footwear for over 50 years. Now, the brand has launched its latest performance tennis shoe, the Knitshot, which utilizes a laser constructed K-NIT material.

K-NIT is low elasticity and features unique high-abrasion thread used in vehicle armor, body armor, and climbing equipment. K-Swiss’ new GuideGlide cushioning places lower density foam under the foot to provide long-lasting cushioning and places firmer foam around the outside of the shoe for stability and support. Additional comfort is supplied by an OrthoLite sockliner that should provide better moisture management and anti-microbial properties.

The outsole integrates three technologies including DragGuard, located in high-wear areas for durability. The outsole uses herringbone, a tried and true traction setup. According to K-Swiss, the Knitshot is ideal for an intermediate to advanced player.

Mike Miringoff, K-Swiss Global Director of Tennis, commented: “The Knitshot is unparalleled to other knit products out in the market. We designed this shoe with the player’s needs in mind, providing comfort and support where they need it most, helping to enhance their game on the court to achieve peak performance.”

The K-Swiss Knitshot is available at K-Swiss.com, specialty retail stores, and authorized online partner websites for $155. Many sizes have already sold out.
