The Jordan B. Fly is Available Now

The Jordan B. Fly is available now within the U.S.

We still haven’t spotted Men’s sizes in-stores, but online shoppers can grab the shoe now. They feature a performance woven (Flyweave) upper, asymmetrical lacing, Phylon midsole, forefoot Zoom Air, and an interesting traction pattern.

If you were interested in trying these out then you can grab them now from the following retailers for a retail price of $110.

City Gear | Jimmy Jazz

  1. Flyweave and an XDR outsole for 110 is nice. I also hope you can feel the zoom, but unfortunately it seems like the majority of Nikes these days have crappy zoom. Nike better step their game up now that other companies have superior cushioning setups.

      1. I’m overseas, so its nice to have that option available. I don’t know why they don’t do that for the US market, though. Theres still a good amount of outdoor ballers there.

        1. Ah, gotcha. I don’t know why either. I always thought that they just put the XDR tag on there just to appeal to the outdoor hooping community rather than actually using more durable rubber. Doesn’t make monetary sense that they change rubber compounds between manufacturing just for a different region. But maybe I’m wrong. Maybe they’re manufactured in a different factory or something to make sorting easier.

          1. I could see Nike pulling a trick like that, but I had an XDR shoe that was pretty legit. I had the Zoom Fire(with XDR) and the Hyperdisruptor, which both use the same soles, and the Zoom Fire still had thread on it after 6 months while the Hyper was bald in the same time frame.

Yeah, I don’t know why they don’t do that for all regions; I don’t think it would cost too much more. When I go back to the states the guys at my Orange County courts usually ask “Can it last outdoors?” when they talk about shoes. I’m sure theres a decent market for it in the US.

  2. So basically (if you compare these to the 29 lows at retail) to upgrade to unlocked zoom, is 75$…as these are very comparable, just not so nice in a cushion stand point.

  3. saw these at my finishline. i could not tell if they were really for performance or lifestyle. Especially with that traction

  4. Gonna have to feel how the Zoom is implemented(the lipstick unit pinches the bottom of my foot, it’s too narrow for my forefoot, so fingers crossed they are substantial enough), if the mid-sole is XX-ish, or CP3.VI-VII like, they could still be good.

  5. Already available from Finishline for $88. Looks interesting, but I just don’t trust JB’s budget models enough to pull the trigger on this.
