The Air Jordan XX9 is my most anticipated hoop shoe of the year other than the D Rose 5 and we finally have some concrete release information.
Two colorways will start the launch of the product, with the Black/ Red pair making their retail debut first on September 3rd. The Black/ Team Orange version will make its retail debut ten days later on September 13th, retail is $225. I’ve seen some upcoming colorways of the shoe as well and all I can say is that we’re all in for a treat.

So they’re changing it from originally a Saturday release to a Wednesday release? That is awesome as I should be able to duck some of the school people for my pair of breds 9/3.
I remember how ridiculously long the line was here in Houston during All Star weekend the line was for the XX8. I was ready to sleep on them, but that joker was long at our premier House of Hoops here.
Hell yeah, I just need to find a store near me since I moved, but I’m not worried about grabbing a pair now.

I believe the first colorway is the one to get. The XX8 took forever to release a traditional “Bulls colorway” and that was the Oak Hills.
Nightwing, which of the first to colorways releasing are you gonna pick up? Im loving the black and orange pair because it matches my school colors. However, im afriad that the tanslucent outsole is gonna make the traction not as good, do you think this might happen? Keep up the good work and i cant wait for your upcoming reviews.

That oversized Jordan logo on the Black/Team Orange version is ridiculous, and not in a good way. Please stop with the giant logos Nike, we know who you are, seriously.
They can make any design on the upper and its Jordan Brands 30 years anniversary next year.
They should print the design of every Jordan shoe on the upper. First up are of course the XI.

Excited about playing in these. Looking forward to scooping the black/orange and maybe breds in September. Not excited about waiting 2 more months though…
Im really hyped for this sneaker, but i kinda want a plain-ish color scheme on a couple of them, like a team bank type thing but throwing their own spin on it, like they did with the Christmas pack last year.
The BHM colorway is super clean and simple this yr. Best BHM I’ve seen in a while.
I hope you get to do a performance review before this shoe releases. Although, I’m probably getting the black team orange as soon as they drop anyway.

Really hope they make some regular solid colorways. Only allowed to have mainly black shoes at my hs with either white grey purple or black accents only. Would definitely be a bummer if I couldnt play in these because of the colorways. Do you know how available these are going to be NW? XX8s were pretty difficult to get hands on.
