Our Best Look Yet at the Nike Kyrie Flytrap 2

After WearTesters broke the news on the upcoming Nike Flytrap 2, we have our best look yet at Kyrie Irving’s next budget friendly basketball shoe.

The Nike Kyrie Flytrap 2 looks like it will be very similar on-court to the original Flytrap.

Materials look to be the same style of knit while the elastic bungee band remains across the tongue. The forefoot Zoom Air looks to be the same as the original — featuring Hex Zoom Air.

Two areas that look to be an upgrade is the traction and support: herringbone is in place while an external TPU heel count has been installed.

While there is no word on when the Nike Flytrap 2 will arrive Stateside, they are available now overseas and you can attain them via eBay seller iD4Shoes. Keep in mind, the overseas version is built on a wider last than US pairs so if you’re a wide footer, then this may be a good option for you.

Stay tuned for updates on a US release and share your thoughts on the Nike Kyrie Flytrap 2 below in the comment section.

  1. Kobe 6 with herringbone traction and zoom live textile upper feeling. Will be waiting for the review.

  2. “the overseas version is built on a wider last than US pairs”… that is weird because all Nike shoes are built overseas. is that true of all Nike models? the US versions are built on a different last?
