The adidas BYW X is built for basketball and all of its drops thus far have been limited releases or collaborations with Pharrell. This latest drop is a collaboration with Daniel Arsham.
The Daniel Arsham adidas Crazy BYW X sports bright pops of color at the forefoot and heel as well as unique graphics on the tongue and forefoot elastic band (interestingly both the usual adidas logo and the adidas Originals logo are featured). There is also a premium suede panel at the lateral sides of the shoe for stability.
The Crazy BYW X is equipped with a snug sock-like Primeknit upper, adidas’ Extended Torsion System for stability, a high-grip translucent rubber outsole, and three-pod Boost cushioning tooling.
During weartesting for his adidas Crazy BYW X Performance Review, Nightwing felt the traction at the heel give out and peel off — it looked like “strands of Play-Doh stuck in the spaghetti maker play-set.”
The Daniel Arsham adidas Crazy BYW X will release on August 11 at 3:00 AM EDT for $200 at adidas.com.

Is this an updated version? Did they fix the issues that Nightwing addressed? If so I am down to purchase
There is no indication that anything has changed — besides aesthetics — from the BYW X he tested.
This is like the exact opposite color of what I’d want, but so hard to tell how obtainable these would be.
Exactly I’m trying to cop these but idk if I gotta be on point or can chill on purchasing them. Can never tell when hypebeasts come for a collaboration
The outsole on the second version of these is different. Seems more durable.
The outsole is fine if you are a forefoot striker.
