In celebration of its 10 year anniversary, Rotterdam shop WOEI has once again teamed up with Asics for a new rendition of the timeless Gel-Lyte III.
As an answer to WOEI’s collaboration with Asics five years ago, which was also a Gel-Lyte III, the shop is now bringing us a Apricot Nectar/Black/Grey version.
This low cut silhouette is crafted with tonal suede panels while the toebox and inner lining are made with nylon, giving it a retro ’80s feel. When it dropped at WOEI, the sneaker released alongside matching Asics nylon jackets to carry the theme through.
The street-ready sneaker is dual-branded with logos stamped on the tongues, insoles, and heel caps. An EVA midsole with Gel units at the forefoot and heel is used for cushioning and it sits atop a full rubber outsole with flex grooves for comfort.
The Asics Tiger x WOEI ‘Vintage Nylon’ Gel-Lyte III is now sold out on the WOEI web store but it will be releasing again at the U.K.’s END and Hanon for €150,00 (approx. $175 USD) come November 18.
