Under Armour Steps into the Lifestyle Realm with Two New Models

Under Armour proved themselves as a contender for basketball sneakers this past season with the Under Armour Curry One, but what would you say about Under Armour wetting their feet in the lifestyle segment? Well, don’t fantasize too hard, because Under Armour just released two lifestyle models.

Pictured below are the Under Armour Club Leather and the Under Armour Coast Suede. The UA Club Leather features a low-top silhouette that resembles a Vans type of shoe with a full leather upper, a Charged Foam insole for comfort, and an outsole with a linear pattern for some design and traction. Under Armour branding is located on the lateral side of the heel.

The UA Coast Suede features a chukka-like silhouette with a full on suede upper, a Charged Foam insole, and outsole with a linear pattern as well. The UA Coast Suede is completed with a debossed Under Armour logo on the lateral side of the heel as well.

Three colorways are available for each model, and you can grab your pair(s) of UA’s newest lifestyle creations here: UA Club Leather & UA Coast Suede.

Let us know what you guys think of Under Armour’s two lifestyle models in the comments below!

  1. The black pair is a much nicer looking version of their “Mobtown” that released a long time ago. Don’t know why Charged is used on a walking around shoe instead of Micro G & 4D though

    1. Agreed as well — seems like Micro G/4D would have been wise.

These are a very good look and pretty affordable, I could probably wear for work — not bad at all. Curious how that charged will feel

      1. I’d wear these for work if they were All black. I need an All black shoes for work, but unfortunately UA don’t have anything in all black that is suitable. I really want Micro G and 4D foam as that would help my feet and knees being on a concrete surface 8-10 hours a day.

        Anyone got any suggestions?

    2. UA had went the route with Micro G in the Mobtown I have to pairs and their isn’t enough cushioning with the Micro G sock liner. With Charged Cushioning you will be getting a more comfortable ride and be able to wear for a long amount of hours.

  2. I’m not sure UA should get into the casual side of footwear. They should continue to focus on the athletic side. There’s nothing different about any of these styles. Why wear something like this with the UA logo or, in fact, any logo on the exterior? Maybe if they use these classic silohuettes with UA materials like clutchfit or speedform I would be interested because at least they would feature something different from others.

  3. IMO, this is the weakest entry/reentry into the lifestyle world for UA. Especially for a brand that is so brash and irreverent. A basic Stan Smith and a suede chucka is what they come with?. This collection has no point of view or perhaps my critique is too early?
