According to SportsOneSource, Under Armour welcomed LPGA pro Alison Lee to its roster of ambassadors while unveiling its first UA Women’s Golf line. Here’s the information from SOS:
After a successful amateur career, Lee made the leap to the pro tour in December 2014 after winning the final stage of the LPGA Qualifying Tournament. In her rookie season, she qualified for the U.S. Solheim Cup team, based on her finishes in other tournaments. Lee’s also a college student at UCLA by day, majoring in Communications.
“Alison combines the hard work and dedication that define Under Armour athletes with an unmatched love for the game,” Under Armour said. “She’s also not one to sacrifice style on the course, and we can’t imagine a better spokesperson for our new product line. We look forward to sharing Alison’s story and providing her with best-in-class product as she continues her journey to the top of the game.”
Under Armour said UA Women’s Golf line is focused as usual on performance, style, and innovation.
“This season, we’re all about introducing the world to UA Women’s Golf—we’re building the core pieces she needs for her golf wardrobe in cuts that flatter her and move with her,” Under Armour wrote in its marketing copy. “In addition to incredible basics, we’ve added eye-catching novelty through color.”
