Under Armour Introduces the HOVR SLK, a Lifestyle Shoe

Under Armour has officially introduced its first official lifestyle offering featuring the new HOVR cushioning system: the HOVR SLK.

Under Armour first debuted HOVR cushioning in its top-tier performance runners, namely the HOVR Phantom and HOVR Sonic. Come the end of August, we’ll see the launch of HOVR in performance basketball with the UA HOVR Havoc. And now, we have the HOVR for lifestyle — when you’re in between runs or the gym.

Comprised of a textile upper, the HOVR SLK fits right in with today’s trendy sleek sneakers by offering a comfortable one-piece build. HOVR cushioning can be seen throughout the EVA midsole while the outsole appears to be what was used on the HOVR Phantom for long-lasting durability.

Several colorways of the UA HOVR SLK are scheduled to launch globally, except for Japan, at UA.com, UA Brand Houses, and select retailers for $100 on August 1.

As we reported earlier, the shoe is available early at Zappos.com in a few colorways.

  1. I like UAs logo a lot but I think if they plan to make more casual shoes, they should introduce a new logo like what Adidas does because their logo seems only fit to a Performance shoe.
