In a move to restructure its digital business, Under Armour has announced several executive changes.

Chief Technology Officer Paul Fipps announced that the brand’s core business — connected fitness digital product, digital engineering and digital media — would report directly to him as part of the restructuring plan initiated in the summer.

“This integration significantly enhances our ability to engage consumers with elevated experiences, premium products and personalized services,” said Fipps in a statement.

Additionally, the brand appointed Michael La Guardia as Senior Vice President of Digital Product. La Guardia will become responsible for leading the strategy for all digital product development working cross-functionally with executive management, category leadership, marketing, creative/design, and managing the successful creation and execution of UA’s digital products. According to Under Armour, La Guardia will report directly to Fipps and begin on January 8, 2018.

While La Guardia will work on Under Armour’s digital products, the brand has said farewell to Mike Lee and Albert Lee, co-founders of MyFitnessPal, a data tracking app that records runs and other activities. The duo will depart the brand in January to pursue future entrepreneurial interests.

Finally, David Bergman has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He has served as acting CFO since February of 2017 and will now officially be in charge of the financial sector of UA; his responsibilities include accounting, finance, internal audit to insurance, investor relations, tax, and treasury. Bergman will report directly to Kevin Plank, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company.
