WearTesters recently posted about some luxurious leather kicks for women seen at the recent Under Armour pop-up shop in Oakland. Now, Under Armour has released four new genuine leather-clad models as part of the Modern Sport women’s collection that look premium.
This latest collection includes two new silhouettes, the Women’s Charged Pivot and the Women’s Street Precision. Both models come in low and mid heights — a great thing that allows consumers to pick exactly what they want from the Modern Sport collection.
The Charged Pivot Mid, priced at $140, draws inspiration from the Curry and Curry Lux line by using similar aesthetics and tooling. Genuine black tumbled leather coats the entire upper while debossed leather on the back quarter panel adds some contrast. There is a die-cut full-length EVA sockliner for comfort and Charged cushioning in the midsole. The Charged Pivot Low retails for $130 and both are available in US women’s sizes 5 to 11.
The UA Street Precision Mid, priced at $110, utilizes a soft leather construction with laser cut perforations for breathability. The heel and tongue feature debossed UA branding hits and there is a die-cut Micro G sockliner underfoot. Beneath that lies an anatomical outsole with strategically placed rubber padding over high wear areas. The UA Street Precision Mid and Low ($100) do not feature Charged cushioning.
It’s good to see Under Armour making good on its promise to keep the ladies fresh. If you’re a woman into sneakers that is always pissed dope sh*t doesn’t come out in ladies sizes, UA has you covered. This should be just the beginning.
