The Under Armour Charged Controller is Now Available in Two Colorways

Earlier this month, we reported the tech specs for the Under Armour Charged Controller. In that post, we also reported that the shoe was rumored to release in February 2017, but that may no longer be the case because online retailer Zappos has two colorways of the highly anticipated Under Armour shoe available for purchase now.

If you don’t know the tech specs for the UA Charged Controller, the shoe features a Threadborne upper, the same knitted material that is used on the Curry 3. The midsole and outsole tooling is exactly the same as what the Clutchfit Drive 3 uses: full-length Micro G and a Charged crash pad in the heel. Herringbone is used for some amazing traction as well.

You can grab a pair of the Under Armour Charged Controller with the links below in each of the two colorways for $120. Stay tuned to WearTesters.com for the official performance review. Sound off in the comment section below if you scoop up a pair!

If you aren’t a fan of the shoe because it is a low top, check out the Under Armour Longshot which sounds just as intriguing, if not more, here.

  1. UA is making mistake of making their shoes look like the Curry models. It just defeats buying the flagship model, and it appears that’s what’s happening now with the company.
