Earlier this week, we reported that Under Armour had a new ‘Twisted Knit’ pack coming for its flagship running models, the HOVR Phantom and HOVR Sonic. Now, the shoes have released in men’s, women’s, and kids sizes.
The HOVR Phantom ($130) is equipped with the brand new HOVR cushioning system and contained with a compression mesh Energy Web around the foam. The HOVR Sonic ($100) is designed for speed and sports a fast-drying Microthread upper that offers a snug, compression-like fit with zones of breathability. The shoe is cushioned with HOVR foam (contained by the mesh Energy Web), removable anti-microbial OrthoLite insoles, and uses a blown rubber forefoot for lightweight traction. There are three new HOVR Phantom build and two new HOVR Sonics colorways for men. There are four new colorways of each shoe for women, and several colorways for boys and girls. Connect versions run $10 more.
