Li-Ning had a major hiccup with the Way of Wade 3, but luckily they came out with some solid team models that play far better than this year’s signature line. Prices are also considerably lower as well so if you were looking for something different to play in without breaking the bank then you may want to consider the Wade 808 Mid or Low. Which one of the two is better? They’re the same shoe. Do you want a strap or not is the real question…and only you can answer that. I will say that the cushion feels slightly more plush on the low top version, but not enough to where you’d see a significant difference between the two models. I love playing indoors because I feel you usually get the most out of these newer shoes on the hardwood (traction and durability) but with the Wade 808’s you can play indoors or outdoors and still get the most out of your purchase. Some of the bigger brands put out great products, but they are mainly intended for indoor hoopers. Li-Ning products are made for either. You get that 90’s feel with that 90’s price.
