You can take these sneakers where the wild things are and still blend in.
Coming this April, a new iteration of one of Nike’s trail sneakers is heading to shelves. After four previous sneakers, the Nike Zoom Wildhorse 5 is arriving in a pretty interesting colorway.
The upper appears to feature white mesh, similar to the Wildhorse 4, with fuse in high-wear areas to provide some stability and protection when these are taken on the trail. Underfoot, there is a Phylon midsole with a heel Zoom Air unit for comfort and protection to go along with a waffle-style traction pattern that is durable in both dry and wet conditions.
Overall, these are almost identical to the Wildhorse 4 in that the tooling is very similar and the upper is slightly redesigned. In the event that you forget where these are meant to be taken, the heel pull-tab features “Nike Trail” lettering for a more direct message.
The Nike Zoom Wildhorse 5 ‘Multi-Color’ is releasing on April 1 for $110. You can grab a pair over at Eastbay on release date.
